Rapper Ghetts, real name Justin Clarke-Samuel, was sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to causing death by dangerous driving when he struck 20-year-old student Yubin Tamang in a hit-and-run in North London in October 2025. Clarke-Samuel was driving at 74mph in a 30mph zone, was approximately 1.5 times over the legal drink-drive limit, and continued driving eight miles before going home, according to court evidence presented at the Old Bailey.
