Chuck Norris, the martial arts champion and action star best known for the television series "Walker, Texas Ranger," died Friday at age 86 while hospitalized in Hawaii, surrounded by family. Norris built his career on genuine martial arts credentials, appearing opposite Bruce Lee in 1972's "The Way of the Dragon" and starring in numerous action films throughout the 1970s and 1980s before transitioning to television.
