A 28-year-old former Metropolitan police special constable was sentenced Friday to 24 years in prison for systematically grooming and raping a girl and a woman whom the defendant met online between 2018 and 2023. The defendant, who now identifies as Gwyn Samuels, befriended the child on a chat site in 2018 and later sexually assaulted her at a Christian festival, while also posing as a teenager to deceive the second victim into a years-long abusive relationship.
