The UK government expanded meningitis B vaccination eligibility in Kent after confirming 27 cases of the disease, including seven new cases, with one school pupil and one university student dead. Health Secretary Wes Streeting announced that anyone who attended Club Chemistry nightclub in Canterbury from March 5-15, as well as students and staff at affected universities and schools, are eligible for vaccination and preventive antibiotics.
