A grassroots food delivery service called the Immigrant Pantry in Memphis has expanded to 130 volunteers who deliver groceries and essentials to immigrant families fearful of leaving their homes during increased U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids. The volunteer-run organization, founded by members of Indivisible Memphis, has increased deliveries from eight weekly to as many as 200 people on waiting lists, providing culturally relevant foods and hygiene products to families, particularly those with children.
